General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for course registration at the dog school FAMCANE GmbH

1. Registration and GTC

Registrations for training at the dog school FAMCANE GmbH are binding. The customer is therefore obliged to pay the course fee. Non-payment of the course fee is not considered a deregistration. The participant agrees to the GTC when concluding the contract and these thus become part of the contract. The participant is obliged to register for all lessons via Whatsapp or email.

Lessons that are not attended cannot be made up for and will not be refunded. The course fee cannot be transferred to other courses if a lesson/several lessons are missed. If the participant does not attend the obligatory number of lessons due to too many absences, the participant can make up for these by arrangement with a private lesson at the relevant rate. By registering for a dog training course, the person registering confirms that they have read the GTC and agree to them.

2. Cancellation, withdrawal and organisation

The number of places for a course is limited. Registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. FAMCANE GmbH reserves the right to reject registrations or registered persons without giving reasons.

If the participant arrives late for the lesson, the lesson will end at the originally agreed time unless otherwise agreed. Any additional training time agreed will be invoiced separately.

Cancellations must be made in writing within 24 hours or, in an emergency, by telephone. In the event of late withdrawal, the full training costs will be charged. In case a withdrawal from a modular course takes place in less than 14 days before the start of the course, 50% of the course fee will be charged in addition to the processing fee. If the withdrawal takes place less than 7 days before the start of the course, or in the event of absence or withdrawal from the course, the full course fee is due in addition to the administration fee (regardless of the reasons). The dog straining school reserves the right to postpone or cancel courses in any case. Course participants will be informed in good time. The course fee will be refunded if the course is canceled.

The dog school may exclude disruptive persons or persons acting contrary to animal welfare from further training. The training costs remain due in  full and will not be refunded if paid in advance.

3. Training costs

The training costs are based on the published tariff or are agreed individually. Training costs must always be paid in cash at the first lesson (subscription) or directly before each course. The purchased subscription is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Prerequisite for participation

Only dogs with a valid vaccination certificate and the necessary vaccinations who are also are free from disease and vermin may take part in training. Puppies must have the appropriate vaccinationsfor their age. The vaccination certificate must be emailed to the dog training school before the first lesson without being asked. Female dogs in heat may take part in the training if this has been agreed with the dog training school.

The dog owner is obliged to inform the dog school at all times, i.e. before the first day of training and also in the further course of training, of any illnesses, behavioral problems, excessive aggressiveness or fearfulness of his dog.

Participating dog owners must have adequate liability insurance.

The courses are held in German. It is therefore essential that the German language is well understood so that the course content can be understood and implemented. Certain courses may also be offered in English – but only after prior agreement with the trainer or if explicitly stated in the course description. In such cases, a good command of the English language is required.

4. Leash obligation, behavior during training

Dogs must be kept on a lead before and during the lesson. Dogs may only be released on the express instructions of the trainer. The dog owner assumes responsibility and must inform the trainer in advance if the dog has any problems when running free.

On the leash, a sufficient distance is always maintained from the other human-dog teams. There will be no contact between dogs when they are on a lead.

Dog excrement must be picked up at all times and disposed of properly. The dog training school may recommend private lessons to course participants who are behind in their training (e.g. serious problems that cannot be dealt with in a group lesson). If the participant does not agree to clear up the backlog, they may be excluded from further training.

5. Data protection and copyright

Hundeschule FAMCANE GmbH is entitled to collect, store and process the customer's personal data required in the context of the business relationship. This data is processed with the utmost care and the provisions of Swiss data protection law are observed.

Course participants agree that photos and videos taken during the lesson may be used free of charge for the homepage, social media and other digital channels. The image rights are then held by the dog training school FAMCANE GmbH. If persons are recognizable in the photos/videos, they will be made unrecognizable at the request of the person concerned

Documents and images that participants receive in connection with an offer from Hundeschule FAMCANE GmbH are protected by copyright and may not be copied or otherwise used unless the consent of the authorized persons has been obtained, even for private purposes.

6. Liability

During training, dog owners bear all responsibility for themselves and the dog. They must be insured accordingly (accident and liability insurance).

Within the framework of the Swiss legal system, the FAMCANE GmbH dog school excludes any liability for personal injury, property damage and financial loss. This applies in particular to accidents of any kind, accidents caused by the owner or accompanying persons, accidents caused by their own dog or by other participating dogs, noise nuisance caused by the animal, running away, accidents that happen to the animal, etc.

The dog training school is liable for any intentional or grossly negligent behavior on its part. Any further liability, in particular liability for slight negligence, is excluded.

The dog school FAMCANE GmbH cannot be held liable for theft and loss of objects.

7. Final provisions

These GTC may be amended at any time. The most recent version shall enter into force upon publication on the website. These GTC take precedence over older provisions. In exceptional cases, individual agreements may be made which take precedence over these GTC.

For the contractual relationship between the dog school FAMCANE GmbH and the participants, the GTC are applicable, which are published at the time of registration. The parties agree that the place of jurisdiction shall be Baar Swiss law shall apply in all cases.
